Delaware County Woman Claims $77.4 Million Powerball Jackpot

Pennsylvania – Patricia Chandler, of Upper Darby, Delaware County, today claimed a $77.4 million Powerball® jackpot from the Saturday, June 22, 2013 drawing.

Chandler's ticket correctly matched all five white balls, 13-19-23-33-57, and the red Powerball 28, to win a prize of a $131.5 million annuity, or $77.4 million cash, less 25 percent federal withholding.

Chandler, holder of the single jackpot-winning ticket from that drawing, elected to receive the cash prize totaling $77,412,904.79.

Chandler purchased the ticket at Federal Beer, 1440 Federal St., Philadelphia. The retailer earns a $100,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Chandler presented the Powerball ticket for validation at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County. Lottery officials confirmed it was the jackpot-winning ticket after examining the ticket and executing proprietary security measures.
