Due to Hurricane Helene and the closure of the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee, tonight’s Powerball® and Double Play® drawings will be performed at a backup site in Johnston, Iowa.
The official Powerball and Double Play drawings for Wednesday, Sept. 25 will be performed tonight at 10:59 p.m. ET. The drawings will not be broadcast live on television or live streamed online, however, security footage of the drawings with minimal production value will be posted to the Powerball YouTube page following the conclusion of the drawings.
The official winning numbers will continue to post to Powerball.com, shortly after each drawing.
The drawings will be performed in accordance with policies and procedures approved by the Powerball Product Group of the Multi-State Lottery Association.
