Avoid the Scams

Lottery scams usually involve an unexpected phone call or email informing you that you’ve won a prize or large sum of money.

Scammers will even use the names and logos of legitimate lotteries to make their operation look credible.

If you ever have questions about the legitimacy of lottery-related materials, telephone calls or emails, call the lottery in your jurisdiction and ask for the Security Department.
