ROCKY HILL, CT –The CT Lottery kicked-off its 50 year anniversary today with not one, but two spectacular prize-wins from last night’s Powerball and Lucky for Life drawings.
A $185.3 million jackpot winning ticket ($123,943,000 cash value) with asix-number match was sold at One Stop, located at 914 South Main St., Cheshire; and aLucky for Life “$25,000 aYear for Life” prize-winning ticket matching the first five numbers was sold at 24/7 Express, located at 1607 Barnum Ave., Stratford.
The winning Powerball numbers drawn on February 14 were, 16 -25 -27 -49 -55 and Powerball 17. The Power Play multiplier number was 3. This latest win is the 9th Powerball jackpot won in Connecticut and ranks as the second-largest prize won in CT Lottery history.
The largest prize ever won in CT was a$254.2 million Powerball jackpot won on November 2, 2011, on awinning ticket sold in Greenwich. CT’s last Powerball jackpot win, worth $60 million, occurred on June 25, 2012, on awinning ticket sold in Seymour.

If the annuity prize option is chosen, the minimum guaranteed amount Lucky for Life second prize winners could receive is $500,000 ($25,000 ayear for 20 years), but those who live longer than that receive prize payments for the remainder of their natural life. Second prize winners also have the option to claim their prize in aone-time cash lump sum of $390,000.
Players for the February 14 Powerball and Lucky for Life drawings have 180 calendar days, or until Saturday, August 13, 2022, to claim their winning tickets.
