Shearer hit the progressive jackpot on the "Chambers of Gold" video game. The multi-state, progressive video lottery game is offered at approved racetracks in Delaware, Rhode Island and West Virginia.
Charles Town Races has announced Brenda J from Washington DC as the $1,069,594 Cashola jackpot winner from Monday November 6, 2006. Brenda was playing a $.25 Cashola game when she hit it big. Brenda reports she was trying to figure out what her family would have for dinner when all of a sudden the screen changed. She couldn’t figure out what happened, soon people gathered around her and she knew she had hit it big. 
It was a lucky night for Walter Aho when he hit a jackpot of over $2 million at Mountaineer Race Track & Gaming Resort in Chester, WV on October 6. The Fowler, Ohio resident won $2,143,008.45 on Ca$hola, a multi-state, progressive video lottery game offered at approved racetracks in Delaware, Rhode Island and West Virginia.
The 47-year-old Aho won the largest jackpot ever in Ca$hola’s history playing a TREASURES OF AVALON Game. Aho has the option of receiving his jackpot in either a single lump sum payment or in an annuity that will paid in twenty payments over a 19 year period. Due to the multi-jurisdictional nature of the Ca$hola game jackpot prize, payment will be made approximately two weeks after the prize claim
“This feels fantastic and it comes at just the right time,” said Aho. A 28 year employee of TMI Titanium of Niles, Ohio, Aho has struggled through a six-month strike and a 14-month lockout. With his 19-year-old son in college at at Youngstown State University, Aho said his win indicates “the higher powers look out for you.”
